i added a a few maps to fpsbanana with custom maps, and the on the only one that was commented on,, it seems that the skybox doesnt work!?
i put all the vtf/vmt/vmf stuff into the .bsp, and saved it.
and on a different try i put in my game directory and pressed auto and saved it.
i followed a tutorial but i don't get it?
could you download the map and tell me if it works or not?
if it doesn't i give permission to sharp or rusty to decompile.

the problem is that you're using a custom skybox texture... idk how to add the custom textures to the map so when you download the bsp you get it.. but if you copy the folder that the texture is at(like materials/skyboxcustom/sky01.vtf(copy the whole thing... folder and file)) and add it to the file with the map then extract to the materials folder it should work

I dont know where you went wrong but heres how I do it.
1. Run pakrat.jar 2. open the .bsp file of your map 3. Click Add 4. Find both the .vtf and .vmt of your texture, make sure its in the right directory, they shouldnt be in anywhere but inside your counter strike foler, it must be the same directory where you loaded it from in hammer, you may want to check that.
5. Add them both to your map 6. File > Save BSP 7. Let it save, takes about 10 seconds.
Now It should work.
If you did anything different you may want to correct it.

when you say add to my .bsp what do ya mean?
cause when i add the vtf/vmts they appear in blue(i think) and are unchecked in the box.
from there i save
or i just press auto and save..
