Well i got vmex, that decompiles .bsp files, but i cant seem to find de_aztec.bsp or any other that is premade for the game.
Help plx

i dont think you can decompile valve maps soley with vmex (iv tried to decompile office, but i get big "ERROR" signs everywhere and all the textures are grey)
philip will know though =]

One problem, most of the textures show up as blackxpink checkboards.

That's because you decompiled a game and used another game configuration in Hammer. ie, loading a TF2 map for Half Life 2 in Hammer = purple and black.

Aztec does seem to have lots of purple and black checkered textures. I guess it's because it was the first map to be made for CSS and it was made in a different way- the textures look okay in game.

try to save it again and use pakrat over it. it might find the textures that are missing in yer own folder.
