Hey fellas, I've been working on one of my first maps recently, and for some reason, my props that I put in, such as cars and palm trees aren't showing up. I have no idea why this could be happening. Any ideas?

Try prop_static . If that doesn't work, try prop_physics

Where do I type that? I opened the developer console and typed it when I ran the map, but it didn't recognize the commands. Do I type it in the additional parameters box? Thanks in advance.

In the Source SDK, what type of entity are your trees and stuff?

Er, when I click properties, go to world model, and hit browse, I look at info and static and dynamic are both checked.

New problem: Although I've placed info nodes all around my map, it seems they're not working, in fact, they're not even connected! Not a single one! All of them are touching the are within 64 units or even touching the ground, but it's not working. Is there something I have to flag to get these to connect? My hostages won't move at all, and both the T's and CT's have a really hard time getting around.

The bots work by themselves in CSS. Just type bot_add in the console and it'll generate the nav_mesh for you, then they'll find their way around your map for you.

That's my problem, they haven't found their way around. The hostages won't move, and the other bots stay confined to one or two paths. If needed I can post a screen shot of my info nodes, but you said that the bots work by themselves?

Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Instead of trying to figure this all out at once, I'll just ask how do I get my hostages to move? Because right now, they just kind of pivot. Do I need to set something out for them? All they have right now is their spawn point and some info nodes lying around.

Well, I tried it. My areas are all connected and everything seems fine, but my hostages still won't move.

Show us a picture of your map. (in-game, doesn't matter too much)
