I am building an elevator and have attached a button to it. The problem I am having is getting the elevator to stop at various floor levels (there are three) and to get the elevator to descend floors. The elevator is on path tracks. If anyone knows how to fix this please write. Please help me resolve this problem, thanks mates. G

Each path track has a place to specify what the next place your 'car' is going; much like your car should be pointing to, say, "groundFloor" (or whatever your staring point is called).
Make sure that you specify each to point to the next. That way, your 'car' will progress, incrementally.
The only thing that you have to be careful of is to make sure that the the 'car' stops at each point. Otherwise it'll go, contiguously, from one floor to another.

I got the car to move right, it goes from the first floor to the second and then the third. It also goes back down to the second and then the first and so on. The problem is I don't know how to get it to stop at each path, is there a setting, and where is it?

I guess if each keyframe set the cars speed to 0 then it would.

No, that doesn't work. What you are talking about doing is setting the new car speed to zero, unfortunatly, the setting is that at 0 there is no change to the speed of the car. I still can't get the car to stop at every level, help appreciated.

Ok, I got them to stop, I applyed an output which stopped the car whenever it passed. The problem now is that it is still glitchy and it seems to get cought. I think I can figure it out from here, thanks for all the help, will let you know if it is fixed.

Yea, thanks SharpS, that was a really good way of creating an elevator. I will modify mine a little, but I am too lazy to start over. DAM!!! I wish I had thought of that, o well, my way works ok.
