Thank you for the camera vmf! Works beautifully! I put multiple camera-monitor sets in my map and renamed them as you suggested (001 through 004). But all four monitors show the view from camera 001. I read this on the Valve Developer Community site: "Any number of func_monitor entities can only display one point_camera view at any one time (unless you reprogram this entity in some way). So, if monitor A is set to show camera A, and monitor B is set to show camera B, both monitors would show camera A, unless either monitor A or camera A were disabled in-game. You can use info_camera_link as a workaround." I don't suppose you know of some way to get multiple camera views to show on multiple monitors simultaneously? Thanks for any help you can provide. BTW, your tuts are awesome. I use them constantly.

Hrm... Make sure that each of your entities are named, originally, and that you didn't accidently leave the two the same name...
Also, try naming you cameras numerical to your monitors (cam1 = monitor1, cam2 = etc...).

There is a problem with this. Somebody else had the same one. I remember there was an answer, but it involved changing more than I said you had to in the video. Do you really need more than one monitor in your level? I think the things you have to change are the coordinates. Don't ask how, I just did the tutorial then forgot about how to do it

Yeah, I would like to do this very badly. ;D It's for the HL2:DM modification "Zombie Panic". To tell you more about the scenario, I'm making a map of my house and the houses around it in RL. The map is going very well so far thanks to your awesome tutorials. I've built a panic room in the attic of my neighbor's house and I require four cameras to see critical points around the house for zombie intrusions. This may not sound very important, but it is actually fairly critical to the balance and strategy of the map. I could do it with three cameras, but I doubt that makes a real difference in this dilemma. I've heard it's possible, but I can't find info on doing it. And BTW, yes ant600f2 I used the name of his camera and monitor only I changed all the names in the relevant fields to ...001...-...004... Any help?

I have the same problem, I've used the info camera link, but it still doesn't seem to work. I'd be really nice if i could get this feature to work, thanks.

I have definatley played a level in either half life 1 or 2 in which this was done, pretty sure it was half life 2 one of the jail scenes.

yeah i'm working on a hl2 map where it would be nice. I've been messing around with this, a lot, and don't really see why it doesn't work.

I was asking where the vmf was located, online - did you D/L it from somewhere, or was it sent, directly, to you? Optionally, here's a good tut for CCTV usage: sdknuts.net/tutorials/wiseMonitors.aspJust use and tweak the various example parts to get what you want out of it.

'Course... SOME tuts say that you can only have ONE cam visually active at any given time.
So they say anyway... I'm actually working on that, myself.
