I had skybox around my room, but after I replaced the skybox with walls and made a window the room was almost dark. I have run the compile and there are no errors. What happened?

What I am aiming at is the roof. There was nothing wrong when everything except the floor was a skybox. Then I painted the walls and the roof, and cut out a square for a window. Now the light in the room is weird.

It is a huge rat room, besides lightenvironment ought to be enough.

light from a light environment only originates from skyboxes. Since you only have a small window, only a small bit of light gets in. What you probably want to do it up the "Ambient" light values.

I tried that by painting the skybox texture with wall texture, but I got the same result as using the skybox.

I deleted the map btw and I don't bother with experimenting with rat room anymore.

Hammer doesn't work on my computer. I'm just gonna delete it and never map again.

It was the production error Intel 2500K that ruined my fun with CSS ZE and Hammer. Maybe I will start mapping again later with a new CPU.
