Sort out your toolbars on the right hand side. They should only take up one column. You can move them around. They greatly restrict your 2D and 3D viewing space! Tip with arches, always make a 360 version and delete bits you don't wait. This gives you a nice exact arch to deal with rather than a crazy stretched half-arch. Use snap-to-15-degree for rotating, makes life easy. You can do this in Hammer -> Options -> Tools -> 2DView i believe. Why did you cut it then stretch it back out again ... When clipping around the edge it's best to follow a pattern. You almost got it but went slightly off. You could make it out of a single block by clipping around the edges to make the curve from the centre on both sides. This will halve the number of brushes used. I think you said this at the end though. Overall, good. Some nice things touched like Arch tool and curve-clipping.

I know, It was late night and I got confused, Also my mic failed and when I watched my vid @ youtube, the text was barely visible :S I made it a little bit longer because if i continued with the original it would end up as a half circle and as you can see in this picture A taco isn't a half circle also its my first tut, for the guy who's doing the custom textures for my map (now he's saying he was talking about a tut for the taco texture) So yes, as its my first tut, I succeeded a bit Also! You can use these reversed arches to make a half pipe for surf! And to make the taco better surfable You also could clip it diagonal(if i say it correctly) and make the angle a bit more horizontal to make a better surf ramp: Do it with both, make sure they are +- the same, put them as close together as possible and then connect the lower parts with the vertex tool!
