Whats the difference between that and a normal func_door. Pretty much everything, right? A func_door opens from side to side: a sliding door. What's been described above is a saloon door, if I'm not mistaken. You could shoot it open or walk into it and it would swing with you, you'd have to literally push it with your body to move it (or shoot it, but I personally don't open any door like that).

Correct, basically if you shoot it it'll open. However pushing doesn't work that well because it's a physbox. Personally if I don't want it too go crazy i'll usually just click my use key which in tf2 I have bound too "f"

You'd be able to shoot the hinges off this one if you'd like!

Here you go: rapidshare.com/files/253216498/omgwtfrofl.bsp.htmlOnly able to go 1 way im sorry, but if you would have to make the door go both ways, you would have to make the door frame "non solid" But that would be lame? or idk. It works now but only 1 way. its phys_ballsocket not phys_hinge btw.

Lol made this a while back... hinges are so annoying. And I have never tried it with a phys_ballsocket b4.

Hinge would be better than ball socket.

Hint: to get a good door, combine the phys_hinge and the phys_spring
If you use just a hinge, it will just swing, but won't return like some doors.
