Hey 3kliksphilip, big fan of your tutorials. Your technique for making tutorials allowed me to advance my map editing skills in Source SDK Hammer. But one thing I cannot figure out is how to make conveyor belts. I already know about the func_conveyor, but I think this function was from Half Life 1, since there are no conveyor systems in Half Life 2. The func_conveyor does indeed work as a conveyor, only: - It only moves players along the path, not props.
- It is unrealistic, whereas the texture does not move as a belt would.
Have you ever created a conveyor belt that could move props? Thanks for any input.

Check its flags for a props box to enable. Not sure but it's worth a look.

That didn't help me at all.. You even read my post?
I wanted to know if its possible to make a prop that MOVES like a conveyor that can also MOVE PROPS, not just PEOPLE.
That map is just prettied up to show off the func_conveyor

you can use a thin trigger_push above your conveyor and set the flags to affect clients and props/objects...
i dont know how to make it look like its moving though

And thats where i come in Now first and foremost, I've never tried these and therefore they might not work First you could have something like a actually factory pushy conveyor with the cylinders with motors moving in one direction and it might push you, possibly props second and i can see some obvious problems with this one is a func_tanktrain on a rectangular path, unfortunately the test i did yielded no....good results, it worked! but it was a little buggy, i think the cylinder would be easier in the long run though, its a lot of naming and timing to get the result right If you tried either of these and it worked, didn't work, or you have a upgrade to one, please feel free to tell me
