Anybody want to join a team on Folding@Home? I've set up one under the name Uber Micro, just like this forum and steam group. Download the folding program here folding.stanford.edu/English/MainThe team number is 162197, enter it by right clicking on the program when it's running, configure, then in the box next to 'Team number'. For any one who doesn't know what folding is, it's a program that processes large amounts of information to try and help solve all the worlds problems and stuff. Like cancer. And AIDs. But what ever, we all know everybody does it just as a willy-waving competition. Who can get the most points? Can a mere SDK-help forum become an unstoppable number crunching force? Who knows. The speed at which you crunch those numbers depends on your graphics card and processor. I'll be setting up a website for it soon, just to make it look a little bit more flashy. Any help with the folding would be appreciated, just leave it running in the background when you're on your PC. If it slows down your PC then just lower the amount of CPU power it uses. Or just don't do it at all I guess it takes a while to be updated, this is where the website will be. fah-web.stanford.edu/UM.html

The GPU one is always MUCH faster, but it'll kill your PC when you're using it. best to set it to either half speed (Still 10x faster than the CPU) or leave it on when you go down for tea.
