Why are there so few good ZE maps out there? Someone should make more maps. I gave up. My hardware can't take it, and Hammer Editor is not good enough for me. Spawns: Min. 50 Popular maps to get inspiration from: ze_elevator_escape_v4 ze_licciana_escape_v2 ze_omega_b3 ze_rooftop_runaway1_v4 ze_rooftop_runaway2_v5 ze_sorrento_escape_v5 ze_titanic_escape_v2_2 ze_umbrella_hq_b8 zm_ATIX_panic_b3 zm_spacestationflee_v2_fix All can be found at fpsbanana.com Any good mappers up for the challenge?

I hate waiting for compiling, and there is too many shut downs with error messages.
I haven't tried that game before, but I prefer lots of people playing anyway.
Hammer Editor needs to be updated, more user-friendly.

Hammer Editor needs to be updated, more user-friendly. So, you are impatient but you want to make maps, and you want hammer to be dumbed down so that noobs can use it. so instead you want us to make the maps for you? I suggest you learn how to optimize your maps so you can compile quickly, and perhaps actually watch SharpS tutorials so that you can learn how to make maps. Why would you come to a mapper forum if you cant make maps? If you want noob friendly mapping get Far Cry 2. Or be pro and learn to use hammer.

'My hardware can't take it, and Hammer Editor is not good enough for me.'
Compiling slows down all PCs. Set the middle option in the compile menu to FAST instead of NORMAL and it'll speed up.
As for errors, if you make your level out of blocks, add in some props and lighting then there won't be a problem. Only by carving, resizing things horribly and making walls with 134.7 thickness will you get problems.

I don't want others to make maps for me btw. I want people who are good at mapping to make for everyone to play, like i3D who has 50 players.

Where can I find a list over all entities and what they do? I don't wanna browse and test them all. I don't understand. Can't you find where the lis of entities are, or do you want somebody to... make a list of all the entities for some reason? There are loads of types, but it's not hard to use. Want special effects and stuff? go to ones starting with env_ . Want props? Go to prop_ . Browse up and down the list, those that are self explanatory are easy to use, those that sound hard are probably useless any way These are probably the most common. light_environment light env_cubemap sky_camera prop_physics prop_static

If you do start making maps for zombie mod, try and keep things to scale... thats where most of the ZM mappers go wrong.
