If I add custom textures into my map, do they download with it when someone downloads the .BSP? or do i have to give them a folder full of textures as well? how does this work?

Yo inlite, good to see you around here. www.geocities.com/cofrdrbob/files/pakrat-095.zipDownload pakrat, extract it to a folder in your desktop, and then place the BSP of the map with the custom stuff in it in the pakrat folder. Now you need to run pakrat, run the pakrat.jar file and you will see the .bsp file of your map, you need to now open it. You will see a list of textures and stuff in your map, you now need to tell pakrat to add them to the bsp, so click on the "add" button, in your case you will need to find the "dod" folder, but if you were working with any other game you would find the equivalent folder. cstrike, hl2, hl2dm and so on. Once you have found the folder, you need to find where the texture, sound, model, or whatever is. For example, if you wanted to have one of your sprays show up in your map all the time, and you added it to the map, you could go to dod\materials\VGUI\logos\ and add the .vmt, and .vtf both into the map. you will now see the files in the pakrat menu, you now need to click "save" and the files will be embedded into the map! Its that easy
