Well like the title says. I'm gonna start making a L4D2 map, but I would like to hear from you guys and get some ideas. (If you have any) and I know possibly only two people will reply to this thread lol, but I'll give it a go anyways...

Or, actually:
Make a map that has MANY routes through it. Then use clever Logic (i'll help) to randomly open up one random route through it all.
The way to do this is to create multiple blockades in sections, then randomly remove one blockade per section on map start. Every play through is different.

Would the castle be the final? Final fight could be in the court yard. So maybe.... Players have crashed in the forest (helicopter)? then from the forest, second level would have players go into some cave/catacombs. Third chapter?

Person 2 xD made me lol. Well I was thinking of an easy solution for getting the survivors into the cave. If I choose to do a helicopter crash at the start, I could make one way blocked by some fast flowing river of some sort, that way they have have one route to go down. The forest could be surrounded by mountains and hills and then, that's were the cave entrance would be. Cheers for the links guys I'll have a look through them @ Person 2, The futuristic base idea is a no no for me I need displacements, lots of them Zeph, them two first pic are pretty cool, I didn't think of a sink-holes, could be a good idea

What about an Island based map? pretty sure that's not been done on L4D 1 or 2 before?
