I have been away from mapping for a few years and my question is i forgot how to move objects. Lets say i have a light fixture and when i move it it jumps from block to block i need to know how to just barely move it. Thanks

Define a bit more... What do you mean by "jumps from block to block" ?
You want the lighting fixture to swing?
You want the lighting fixture to move around the map?

ok when u look at the views while making the map you see the blocks or grid layout "not sure what its called" if i have lets say a box and want to align it close to the wall wen i go to move it, it will jump from block to block on grid view and i just barley need to move the object for alignment i just 4got what the key was Thanks 4 reply.

Ah.
You're talking about the Grid. You have "Snap to Grid" on. this is GOOD. However, you may want to move an object a smaller distance.
Use keys '[' and ']' to increase/decrease the grid size.
Typically, build with grid size '8' (it's said in the bottom right of the screen). Wall thickness's are 8, corridors are 64 or 128 wide, 128 tall. Build the floor of rooms on the 64 grid scale, so everything snaps nicely.
