lms_ maps would basicly be a deathrun kind of theme where traps are only triggered by scripts. So this is deathrun without any humans pushing buttons. The downside would be it would require a lot of scripting for one map only. I think some mg_ (minigame) maps also have something similiar to my idea, but they are very small, and doesn't have a theme based on lms_ but keep going in the same cycle with traps and it is always predictable. Bhop should not be required since a lot of people can't do that. Climb skills like xc_ maps should be required. Handling weapons skills should be required. Surfing (but perhabs not mad skills) should be required. Sliding can be implemented. If there are triggers that are totally random than last man standing outcome would be pure luck. I'm not sure how far skills should get the last man standing. Maybe end it with a knife fight for the 2 fastest to the goal line. There are already a deathrun map based like that, and that too have no buttons, but its not scripted with traps, only basic skills; like jump, duck, duckjump, swim, climb, avoid moving objects, opening doors, etc.
Does that sound like something that could be a good mod?

I would add to that a map by Freeze called ze sg1 has two missions and randomly chooses 1 of those for each round. A lms_ map would then have different outcomes if it had lets say 5 different ways of getting through a map to the end.

don't make it 'he who played the map before, wins'. IE don't have a set 'route' which is 'safe'.

Maybe luck should be required like the dancing room map (minigame category) which is almost random. Not all doors will open because some doors had already been used, but its always random which ones open until the end.
No routes are safe. There will respawns and deaths until one is left. Almost like slide_ maps, its kind of lms_.
