or not, its OK! Anyway, my latest creation, which still remains unnamed, is posted on FPSB. It's more of an experiment of natural lighting in industrial settings which mainly rely on artificial lighting. I learned quickly that unless you want your map to be pitch black with few light spots, or made entirely out of windows, your going to have to use artificial lighting. What I mean by artificial/natural is artificial is many light sources, less bright, most of the time cooler colors, and the light source is in the area that you want lit. Natural is of course warm mostly and comes from the sun (or moon if you want your map to fail). This map uses plenty of windows, low lightmaps, and more windows to use as much natural lighting as possible. Infact in one area I was able to achieve 100% natural lighting which makes me satisfied with it overall. Why you may ask? Not only does it look better (to me atleast) but it opens up areas, exposes a pretty sky, cuts up textures, and strays away from artificial lighting found in most industrial themed maps. Anyway heres the link! www.fpsbanana.com/wips/35031

Is this map offline? I'd really like a good example of lighting since its something ive spent most time on getting it to look right in my last map. Right now im doing a daytime / nighttime version of a map so would be great to get my hands on this. I only have HL 2 (dm, ep1, ep2) and no css but since its all source engine?
