Hi all ;D I've just started working on a map called dm_well, which will be a mirrored map that is a cross between de_train and the well map on TF2. I have a problem though. When I make a tunnel then put a boxcar in it to stop people getting through, then I put a black texture at the end with a black light, when I test the map the train track prop can still be seen even though everything else is black, and the floor texture that runs right the way through and under the train looks black. Make the tunnel go back further and see if it still happens.

i think you have to put the texture effects/black, not italy/black.. if thats your problem (ive never tested it but i think its the way it supposed to be.

The black under the train tracks is just a big, blotted out shadow from the prop. Have you tried compiling with RAD set to Normal? That might help it. If not, try moving the train tracks up or down slightly to see if that stops the shadow from being as black.
