This problem is sort of plain. I try to texture a door using the dev_measuredoor01 texture, and i make the dimensions the same as whats shown on the texture. (duh) but! I cant seem to center it correctly on the door. I always end up with the gray areas of the texture showing. I'll try to post a screenshot

You can use the Justify buttons,
L = Left R = Right Fit = fits the image to the brush face (will stretch it) T = Top B = Bottom C = Center <-- probably the one you want.
Also, reset the texture scale to (i think) 0.25 for both X and Y. If you click Fit, it changes these.

When it has the bars like that youll have to play around with it, fit doesnt work.

Reset the scales to 0.25 and click "L" and "B". That should do it.

Not if its the correct length for a door. Its something like x-.35 and y-.25
I dont know it exactly (use prop doors most) but I know the door textures with the black bars need a different x-y.
