haw can u make a snowman or something like a shield where u make a weapon attached and when u take the weapon u are that object like knife in a snowman u take knife and u get the snowman over u haw to do that i haf try anting parent to the knife etc even the knife to the object with smart edit than new first parent the second the object don't work plz help me

I've seen such things in a mini game, you had shields, electric fields, jet packs, cars and lasers and stuff, and they were attached to a player if you walked over, I will try to decompile and see how it works

If parenting doesn't work then I don't know what will. Can you download maps with this in, or is it only on servers?

i know the problem i dl a map and make it vmf of it and u need to make ur object and then u need make a func_physbox_multiply of it then u can put the knife or other weapon u want in the thing u creat gife it a name and set the perent of the object tho the knife

hmm i know i've replied on this kind of topic before... but its very simple.. ive made some in my maps too,,, just parent a prop to it.. gonna search for that other topic for what kind of prop ^^
I sayed "(it think physics)" in that topic but ill look in my map for a sec.meeh D: dont have that map anymore.. but u can always try trial and error.. just make a map with like 5 knifes and parent a prop to each knive, and make all the props different ( dynamic, physics, etc.) and look wich one will work..
