trigger_push would be easier, with a filter to the objects name.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.
I wonder if you can suggest how I might go about making a see-saw that reacts and pivots when a weight is dropped onto the opposite end.
I have begun with a func_physbox tied to the see-saw brush which has a phys_hinge at its centre. I would like to drop an object on the raised end and have whatever is sitting on the lowered end be flipped into the air.
I know, there are entities like env_physimpact and env_physexplosion, or trigger_push which you mention that can be executed when say the falling object hits the see-saw, but so far I haven't had much luck with this.
So far, the see-saw reacts and pivots downwards if I stand at the raised end and fire downwards at it. it also reacts if I place a gnome onto the raised end.
Any help here would be great. Merry Xmas!

physbox plank on a hinge.
drop a physbox with a large mass scale on one side
launch a physbox with a lower mass scale on the other side.

That worked great, thanks! You wouldn't know if this could be modified to fling the tank across the map, would you?! Guess it's only physboxes? Also have a tutorial request, haven't seen many guides around that deal with under-water lighting, possibly to produce realistic effects such as shown in Zumthor's Thermae of Stone in Source SDK part 2: HDR light - www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioNf5JOGNKo&feature=related&hd=1 (see around 1 minute in). Really enjoying all the tutorials - Cheers 3kliksphilip

Or a prop_physics. Your tank is likely to be a Prop_Dynamic. It may work as a prop_physics.
Those are just normal light sources under water. Nothing special about them except small light cones.

Not sure. I'll ask 3k. Maybe he's moved his site or forgot to pay the bills.
