is there a way to make your objects not want to stick to the grid lines, when i first started making the map it was okay, but now, everything sticks, and i cant figure out how to make it not stick... hope that makes since...
it really makes making a ladder a pain in the rear..

Make the grid larger and smaller by pressing the [ and ] buttons

if you want to be able to move objects without the grid at all, hold alt and drag.

Don't you just go up to the toolbar and Uncheck "Snap to Grid"?

I recommended simply decreasing the grid size, as turning off snap to grid is simply the same as a 1 grid width any way. Plus if you do it to that it's messy and doesn't align neatly, while with a 4 grid size it'll still be okay for a ladder, but it'll have the added benefit of being neater and more aligned. Don't ask why it's so important, it just is
