Water not working, no leaks, no skybox

i started creating a surf map a few days ago (yes ima noober xD) and i was using water to break the fall after teleporting to the next area, as my map is a skill surf, and my water WAS working, but while making my map, i went for a while without testing it because i needed to make my skybox, retexture some stuff, and was working on one of my rooms, and now the water doesnt appear at all, i've deleted my skybox and retextured so that no surface has the skybox texture on it at all
also i'm almost 99.99% positive theres no leaks, because theres no ****LEAKED**** message in my compile log, and my map isnt creating a pointfile after being compiled....
