Hi, would would like to start by saying wow! how awesome are your tutorials. thanks alot. well, ive been mapping and getting used to SDK for a good few weeks now and i think i'm just about ready to "try" and make a half decent map. however, im little bit stuck. how can i make a vent that you can crawl through that has the breakable vent covers on. i tried just making a hole and putting the breakable model into the hole but when i load my game up and take a look, the vent cover just seems to have fallen over. also, i dont suppose you know a nice texture for a fancy looking vent shaft? ;D thanks in advance and much love to your team <3 Barto.

make it a func_breakable instead of a func_physbox.

But if you make a func_breakable the vent cover will literally shatter into some gibs (pieces). If you want it to just fall down without it shattering you can use phys_constraint and set it to break when it takes a certain amount of damage. You might have to experiment with that one because it is kind of hard to use.

You could also use func_physbox and set its 'Health to override motion' to something like 20. Make its Strength around 50.
