At the moment, I am making a minigames map, and I'm having a bit of trouble with the teleports. Here are my questions:
1. How do I make a one time teleport? I need someone to walk through the teleporter, then it cannot be used again. 2. How do I make it so when one person from one team dies in a certain area, a teammate teleports to replace them?
If these are difficult questions to understand for you, just ask and I'll reiterate. I just need some help- thank you very much.

1) !on_start_touch -> !self -> disable -> delay -> 0.1
2) yikes. You'll have to parent the destination to the player, and track deaths using game_zone_player or a trigger over the whole area with OnEndTouchAll or something...

Can you explain how to parent destinations to players? I'm a bit new to the logic aspect of Hammer, and I want to take in any information I can.

Yeah...
Something like when the player enters a trigger_multiple:
OnStartTouch -> NameOfDestinationEntity -> SetParent -> !activator
It'll need some playing with. Also, it depends if you want the new player to appear where the old player left off, or just enter the zone (in which case you dont need to move the destination).

I realized I didn't explain something- I need one random person to join the arena that's in the "spectator" area around the arena. Do I need any modifications to what you've told me? I just thought with what you've told me, it was more designed for someone to enter an area to be teleported into the arena, which I don't want- I want the map to do it without any input from the player.

It's quite tricky as you have no control over the number of people who get teleported. You have to have only one in an area at a time for it to work. If you enabled a teleport with many player in, all of them would get teleported at the same time. Not sure I can think of a way around it without lots of separate areas.
