Few things: 1) avoid water materials with "beneath" in the name. These are automatically placed on the inside of the brush, under the water texture. 2) some props cannot be static (eg stool). These must be physics or dynamic. To check: When viewing the model in the model viewer, click the "info" tab, and see what is ticked. 3) Clip the steps on the stairs in-line with the ramp under them, so they do not overlap. func_Detail just the steps, leaving the ramp as world geom. Nodraw faces between the two. 4) Split the floor/ceiling brushes to a per-room basis. This A) prevents too many Visleafs on one brush face (can cause portal side errors) and B) allow for different textures per room. 5) You'll be wanting multiple routes / ladders / corridors to make this work. Good use of props. I really need to go through them all and learn what's available. Focus on the layout/brushwork before adding too many details (props). Perhaps draw the levels on paper with locations for stairs/ladders. The outside of the Sub needs some work :3. 3D Skybox is probably going to be needed. Perhaps (looking from he side) try to have rooms spanning multiple levels or sloping up between them, rather than such dedicated levels. Each one is a bit... flat.

AHhaha I love the firefly image I got a laugh there.
1) I was going to ask what that was, TY, Fixed.
2) Yes I know I had to make seagulls and a bunch of other props physics and had them selected, will be fixed but your right I will probably not worry about those till it's even fully built.
3) Ok. I think I need to look online for some more...submarineish looking stairs.
4) I usually / was just going to cut it into separate pieces after, but I think making the floor to size/style per room might be better.
5) Yes the idea for this sub is that it is "the largest" so I can get away with things you wouldn't normally see on subs...lots of stairs and square rooms..however I had originally 3 levels however I think this map would do better with 2 levels and the length spread really long... I'm going to do the edits now.
I couldn't find a good skybox and there needs to be tons more water..so the skybox would probably help a lot.
Again, thanks for the reply PoTaTo!!!

2) Do check these. they dont appear in game if they are the wrong prop type. Simply look at the compile log and change the ones affected. 3) They are fine for now, just clip them in-line with the slope/ramp, so they dont overlap. 5) make sure there are plenty of route still! maintenance tunnels (IE Vents), etc
