Hey,
I'm just about to upload my map to the workshop but I want to switch it to either Deathmatch or GG/Arm's race. How do I go about doing this?
Also does info_player_spawn have any relation to CS:GO?

I'm not sure anything defines the map type except it's name and what you do with it. Player_spawn is a single-player thing. i think it may do the "starting camera" when you load the map, though.

ok i will probably take them out i was trying to use them as random spawns for deathmatch. So I should try re-naming the map to gg_ or maybe take the bombsites out?

bombsites -> dm hostages -> hr (or whatever) buyzones -> not gg etc
only put in that which matches your gamemode

Ok so I took out the bombsites and the buy-zones. I even tried adding in the "info_deathmatch_spawn. But then it said "teams are full". Is it a command you need to type into the console? (I am talking about just testing it in the SDK not hosting from my server. I assume I can just change the server to run the game in that mode (gg or DM) But are their any specific entities I need? Sorry for the bother and thanks for the help , PoTaTo!!! P.S Has anyone ever tried making Dota 2 items/weapons? I'm also trying to teach myself how to do that in the meantime.

you can only use CT and T spawns for CSS. The others are for other games (deathmatch -> HL2:DM).
You could randomly scatter CT and T spawns over the map. However, there is a chance that players will spawn in A) the same place or B) near each other/others.
