Hello. (sorry if this is covered elsewhere, but i am unable to find it)
I'm reworking a Jailbreak map to suit the likes of the people I play with and am having a problem with the music on the map. They were originally named sound1.mp3, sound2.mp3 etc.
So i found some mp3's i wanted and renamed them to sound1.mp3, sound2.mp3 etc. They were 192 kbps, 44,100 hz, 16bit, Stereo format which is the same as the original sound file in the map. So the format of the files and the location/name of the file is the same. I compile the map and use pakrat (using the auto option) to pack the extra files including the MP3's, In pakrat the path shows as "sound/FOLDER". If I keep the files in my cstrike/sound folder they play fine for me, but if i remove those files and try to play them directly from the bsp file, it fails and gives me the error Failed to load sound "FOLDER\sound6.mp3", file probably missing from disk/repository"
I tried this with PackBsp as well and have the same problem.
As far as i can tell it seems to be a problem with the packing as the mp3's work when playing from my machine and not the bsp. Need some help on this as it's driving me crazy, any help would be much appreciated
