Mapping question, has anyone had the problem with func_rotating being used with another entity. valve does report that func_rotating will have problem on most games , but there has to be a way to make it work. what iam trying to do is make a 128x128x128 cube set as func_movelinear rise from a chute in the map and as it is rising to slowly spin. seems easy enough. i have tried func_physbox with phys_motor, func_door ect. it will rise fine it thats all you want to do. it will rotate fine it that's all you want to do. but when you try to do both, when it starts rotating it goes in a arc that gets bigger and bigger until the cube is outside the map. i have included a test .vmf for anyone that may want to take a crack at this. The entity you want is a Func_Platrot. It's basically an elevator (your move linear) which rotates as it's moves (your func rotating).
