Do you have a compile log? I could find the problem there rather than waiting till i get home to look at the VMF.

You have a leak. Fix it.
See my uber FAQ at the top of any forum for help.

Firstly, you should never put a giant box skybox around your map. See Skybox Optimisation. Secondly, is your skybox a entity (EG Func_Detail or Func_Brush)? Thirdly, does the red line from pointfile start at an entity, or in space? If in space, then it's starting from an entity's helper-node, for example it's origin.

i did the skybox that way. Still no difference to water. 2ndly it isnt an entity and the pointfile line comes from thelight environment entity.

Follow the line from the light environment to the void. Seal up gaps.

The line goes to the center of the top of the skybox....where there's no gap. i redid the skybox to the way you where saying and there's no line now but its still not working. I attached the newer map again so you can have a look. Attachments:

Yeah its not that simple. I have already done that countless times. Just going to say i don't think the answer to this problem is as easy as you think it is. Bus it still could be because i only watched a couple of tutorials on how to make maps. So there might be some update issues that i know nothing about.

The last VMF send is the most up to date.

Why the hell is a 'test' map the FULL size of the hammer grid build area?! Make a small box in the middle, not the entire play field!

Because im making a huge map and for that im testing it the size of the grid
