Hey, currently I'm trying to get my favorite maps from good 'ol SoF2 to TF2.
I managed to get convert the SoF2 map file to a .vmf for Hammer. Now once I open up the map, everything is off-grid. That basically means I can't really make changes because my new added stuff will be clipping where ever I add something.
I tried selecting the whole map, every single brush, model, etc and move it on the grid. Did not work. It stays at these weird positions on the grid.
Once I move just 1 brush at a time and try to place it nicely on the grid, then that does work.
Is there any way that I can still place this map right on the grid?
Thanks in advance,
Koudspeel

You can try: Ctrl+⇧ Shift+B Snap selected objects to grid (individually).

Sorry for the late reply. I tested this without succes. Is there a possibility to maybe import a different grid into Hammer. I used to work with GTK Radiant 1.4.0.
So that I like take out the grid file or something from GTK and place it in Hammer? Might sound weird, but I have no idea at all.
If not then I'll just replace every single brush myself.
Thanks,

I doubt GTK and Hammer are comparable. Best just to remake fresh in Hammer. (I started with GTK with "Kingpin", lol. Hated WorldEdit, but now love Hammer... )
