Hi again. I just have some more questions:
How do I make fine, circular holes on the walls?
I'm also having trouble with ai nodes. When I go into map_edit, some of the links between the nodes are red, probably because the ground has some displacements, but I'm not sure how to fix them?

For the holes, first thing first, clip the walls so that you're left with a small square (which the circle would fit inside). Delete the middle square. Create a 360 arch inside that square. Make it to size exactly, first. Top down view, and square. Rotate if necessary. Use the vertex editor to shift the outer edges of the arch to neatly fit the square hole.
More nodes? In between? Walking level?

Start with your wall: Cut it vertically to create a middle slice: Cut that middle slice horizontally to form your square. It should be the (diameter of your circle hole) + (4 or 8): Delete middle square. It should be slightly bigger than your resulting hole: Create your arch brush. Make sure you create it using the top down view, as this is it's default rotation. Try ot make it square, and to the correct size to start. 16 sides is adequate. Wall thickness must be half the additional size you made to the square hole. EG if you made it 8 units wider than the inner circle hole, then wall thickness of 4 is necessary. Rotate to your wall angle: Use the vertex editor to stretch the edge points to fill the square, in a nice pattern. Make this arch a func_detail, so the VisLeafer sees a simple square hole, not the complex circular hole:

Ahhh, the arch...for some reason I didn't think that would be hollow like that...
And yeah, I suppose more nodes will have to do...I have to add a hell of a lot more though, lol
