I was just wondering how to make a buoy like float on water and look realistic. I have tried every kind of prop but only one would show up in game and I realized I didnt have the move option on. I went back and changed it to move and re compiled my map and it disappeared to. Anyone able to help me? Any response would be greatly appreciated

tricky...
can it be reached by players? if so then you'll have to do it right, if not then we'll fake a method...
Idea 1) Create a trigger_push, filtered to only the entity, pushing up. attached the entity to a point below so that it's restrained. perhaps add a phys_explosion, filtered to the entity, to add a bit of random movement to it.
Idea 2) place a ballsocket joint just above the buoy's centre and attach it to the buoy. add a small phys_explosion to start it moving.
Idea 3) Create a small but complex pathtrack and tracktrain system...
You might be able to get away with setting the prop's data to "wooden.tiny" which would probably float.

I looked at it, didnt have internet connection to really get back on here though. Anyways, I put what you did into my map to test and see if itd work and its ok but the Buoy just keeps tipping to its side before it bounces off the trigger push and wont go upright till I shoot at it.

Make sure the phys_length_constraint attaches to the Buoy below the origin of the Buoy, so that it'll become upright when under the force of the push.
Tweak it to suit your needs, but the basic idea is there.
