Afternoon fellow steam users! I am trying to import custom skins and models into half life two so I can use them in the hammer editor for half life two. I have followed about ten tutorials and none of them seem to be working, here is what I am trying to import into half life two. halflife2.filefront.com/file/...els_Pack;71726Now I have a list of questions... 1. Are these models only for Garrysmod? can they be used in half life 2 also? If so, how can I do this? 2. I want to take the skin from the models and apply them to npcs, for example Npc_ civilian and Npc_combine_s. Is there anyway I can do this? If so...how would I go about doing such a thing? 3. How can I import the models and skins so they can be used in the editor? Thanks everyone, your help is very much appreciated. ;D

1. You can use the models for any Source game. Just take the models and materials folders from the download and copy them to half-life 2/hl2, or counter-strike source/cstrike, etc.
2. I haven't tested this, but I think you can change an npc's model keyvalue (you may have to turn off smartedit and add it manually if there is no existing modelname keyvalue) in Hammer if that model is rigged correctly.
3. If you put the models in your hl2 folder, they will appear in the model browser when you launch Hammer with the hl2 game config.
