How do I do a minefield, if it is possible, on hammer editor?

Make a displacement with a power of 3 and depress the area where you want the mine to be. Put an env_explosion in there and call it mine_1. Now make a brush so it covers the explosion and makes so that you cannot see the depressed area, cover it with the same texture as the floor and make it a func_breakable, (DO NOT make this a displacement). Give it a name something like mine_floor_1. Set its material type to rocks or whatever you desire and in its flags tick 'Only break on Trigger'. Now make a brush with the tools/trigger above the area where the mine is, when the player walks through this the mine will explode. Make it an trigger_once, go to its outputs and type Ontrigger mine_1 Explode
Then click add again and type: Ontrigger mine_floor_1 Break
This is for mines the player cannot see but you can make them above ground just as easily.
