I'm trying to make a race track for multyplayer because I found out that it's possible to add vehicles to multiplayer maps.
But there's one problem: I just can't put the buggy there... I can put the airboat, but for some reason not the buggy. And that was my objective.
I get this in the console: Attempted to create unknown entity type prop_vehicle_jeep! Can't init prop_vehicle_jeep

Set the World Model to
models/buggy.mdl

well, that's what I have done already. But thx for it cuz you gave me an idea.
I tried to change the model of the prop_vehicle_airboat to the buggy.mdl and I got a drivable buggy functioning like the airboat, with bugs, but functional.
which led me to believe that the problem is not the model itself, as the message in the console told me before.
So I went to confirm and tried to do the inverse, put the airboat.mdl in the prop_vehicle_jeep and I get the same situation as before. An empty space where should be a vehicle and an error message. The problem is the prop_vehicle_jeep entity apparently being unknown to HL2dm. I tried prop_vehicle and prop_vehicle_drivable and despite the model appears where it should, I couldn't get it to work.
...I'll see if I got any solutions at the steam forums.
Thx anyway.

When you load up the Source SDK for Half Life 2 and click File and Open, there should be an example vmf with the buggy inside (I think it's called vehicle or something). Try compiling that one and see if it works- if so, copy that buggy into your map. If it doesn't work then it's obviously some stupid update, probably thanks to Episode 2.

I got this answer in the steam forums:
So perhaps I'll quit the idea...
