When I put objects in func_thanktrain (or func+tanktrain), they do not render properly when I go play the map in-game. They aren't visible and I can shoot through where it's supposed to be. What did I did wrong? Thanks

When you say, 'objects,' do you mean entities? Have you checked to make sure the entity TYPE is correct (sometimes, if you have the wrong type, they don't render properly, sometimes)?
As well, just as an additional, you can set the object's 'parent' as the func_tracktrain - as far as motion is considered; just make sure you 'Name' the train, so it has a named parent to attach itself to. (Who'd ever heard of an unnamed parent? What would we say, as little kids? "HEY! Uhm... You! With the fun-bags!" Not quite the same.
Gotta screenshot?

The objects are blocks that I tied to a tracktrain entity. The entity type is the same one shown in the video. And I named the train. I tried parenting the prop_dynamic/prop_physics to the train entity but the parent option was not there. I got screenshots here, so please check if I did something wrong 60spaure.weebly.com/screenshot-for-a-forum-that-i-needed-help-with.html

So you're trying to append objects to a collection of objects that are are already an entity - in this case a 'func_tracktrain'?
That's how it seems, from the looks of it; as well that your Tracktrain is a prefab deal D/L'ed from a site, yeah?
One way - maybe the best? - is to select your 'train' and then go to the top of your screen and hit the 'ig' (ignore grouping) button. That'll enable you to (normally) select various pieces that make up the group (tracktrain).
Once you do that, hold 'Ctrl' and click the object that you want to add TO your tracktrain. Once you do that, hit 'Ctrl+G' (there-in REgrouping the objects, and when it asks you if you want to create a new group/ object, it's up to you if you want to do the foot-work on resetting the flags, and such. If you don't mind that, click 'Yes,' and go back through and redo that. Otherwise, click 'No' and it'll add the NEW piece(s) to the pre existing one.
Just make sure you remember to unclick 'ig,' at the appropriate time.
From the look of it, no foul, on your end, as far as the displayed dialogs show. But as far as the entity thing, the only way that it MIGHT 'attach' itself to the train is if it's physics-based, and the surface that it lands on just HAPPENS to be a part of the train.
I had the same problem with a light-cage and a vertical wall that doubled as a door. The door would move, but the lights were still in place.
No help there, I know, but I can relate.

I do understand what you're saying and I already done that. I went selecting objects and made a group with all of them. Then I put the group as a func_tanktrain, but they disapear. The pieces of the train, they are blocks (from the block tool) that I put together, it's not a prefab from a website.
Is there anything else I can do? I followed the tutorial on youtube for tracks and trains but it got stuck with my train no longer rendering in game.

If I send my map to you, can you then try to figure out the problem?

Well, I've got your ORIGINAL problem solved/ fixed, but there-in causes another anomoly:
They keep wanting to shift backwards and such, as the train goes from point A-to-B. stops.
Let me know if you want me to look into that one, or what. I believe that you can fix that by simply bumping up the prop's mass.
Right now, I'm goin' to sleep.

What was the problem?? I'd like to know how you solved it! And I'll try to figure out the "backward" thing. It can probably be figured out by changing a value in the property Window.
Thank you! You can send me the corrected version of the map by email.

Check your email... The best thing to do is compare the properties of the two INSIDE the car to both each other and to the other thing - you can't miss it, trust me.
I believe I got the inertia thing straightened... But I think that's going to have to do with the mass of the object IN the 'train.'
