I have a new computer and i out css on it. I don't want to download all the patches again is there a way to move them across? it took for ever to download them last time because of really really bad internet. if it' impossible meh i'll have to start downloading. (downloading css update now anyway)

You can back up your game files. To do this you right click on a game in Steam, Backup Game Files... choose the games you want and it'll set to work making them into a nice compact file for you to transport across on a portable Hard Drive. It takes a while, though.

Instead of making a new folder... OK, i was going to copy the files of the source sdk from old comp to new comp. But on my new comp the folder with my username has vanished. so i was woundering how i can get the files over? ;o Edit: It came back ok but now with th source sdk files in there it still is downloading from internet...I'll let it download and won't bother trying to backup again thanks again
