Your in DOW? Cool. That map looks really good, your on a great start. Anyway, Im guessing your trying to make mortars like in dod_strand? Ill decompile it and have a look. ___ Okay, judging from what I've seen it looks quite complicated. There is a func_button brush, under the flags tab "Dont push" and "Use Activates are selected" covering the entire mortar, this is what makes the mortars fire. Then there is a logic_relay with input from the func_button, and a bunch of func_tracktrains, each point on the func tracktrain serves as a mortar explosion point along with some special effect entries which create explosions, screen shake, and smoke. It is a really complicated system, I dont think I would want to re create it myself. If you really want make it, I suggest you decompile dod_strand for yourself and have a look. I've found a much more simple way used for CS:S but it should work in DoD:S too as the same entities are used. www.fpsbanana.com/tuts/2060Sorry I cant be of more help, but this should get you started. Good luck!
