Hi there,
If found an intresting entity called "point_devshot_camera", I added them to my map and now i can take screenshots of my progress of mapping.
I added for compiling aditional game parameters: -makedevshots +map "mapname" and i compile my map and start the level.
Now here is the problem, csgo loads all my maps i ever played and try to find all point_devshot_camera in a map and if there is one it takes the screenshot, even the original maps like de_dust2, cs_assault... I just want to take the screenshots of my map.
Is there someone who knows a lot of point_devshot_camera entity's to help me?
Kind regards, Robin

You're in an area I have yet to look at but I guess you should run -makedevshots within the map, not upon compile.

Hmmm, strange because on the valve site of sdk it tells to do it while compiling. And i thought the consolecommand makedevshots does not excist. I gonne try some things and i will post back .

Hi Zeph, I fixed it somehow ^^ its a clever trick ^^ i called my map aaaaaaa so when i run with -makedevshots it load as the first map and after i got my screenshots i cancel the devshots for the other maps

Well, that's a workaround, not a fix. Still unsure why it's doing all the maps.
I thought it could be the +map instead of -map, but apparently +map is normal.
cheers for reporting back though.
Edit:
There is a devshots_screenshot and a devshots_nextmap.
The devshots_nextmap cycles through all the maps in a devshot maplist.
Now the question is, why is your game adding all maps to the list?
