Hey, my first post on these forums.
I've been mapping for ~6 months now and I've never been able to figure out how to respawn a trigger_hurt that has been parented to something.
I'm trying to make a boulder that kills players (phys_funcbox?) and I am trying to make it respawn so that there is a continuous wave of boulders the players must avoid.
I believe I have tried using a point template to respawn a funcbox once it breaks. I have killed the trigger hurt when the funcbox breaks and used the point template to spawn a new trigger_hurt.
All the flags in the point template are set to their defaults and I have found the boulder respawns fine, but the trigger_hurt does not to spawn at all (not even where the boulder starts/respawns).

You should be able to directly kill the player using the func_physbox, assuming it's mass, etc is set correctly, and therefore have no need of a trigger_hurt. The trigger hurt may need it's own point template to spawn. Otherwise, spawn both the boulder and hurt box, and as a third command do: HitBox -> AddOutput -> "parent NameOfBoulder" See also: www.youtube.com/watch?v=IuZhT17TsC8
