I haven't Hammer Edited for months, since my laptop broke. (New one soon, and oh its beastly!)
But i think i get it now though, it toggles between the two without loosing the settings of either. So where as "move to world" would loose the entity settings, "toggle world" would keep them but make it a world object instead. so toggle it back to entity.
Reloading the map nearly always worked and is what i usually did, however. hehe.

What I was explaining in the other thread was when you have a brush entity you can edit it. When you press ctrl+w it makes the brush temporarily blank. Pressing ctrl+w will make it reappear. I know I'm not explaining it but just try it when you can edit the properties, press ctrl+w and try to edit the brushes properties, and youll find that the vis groups will appear. It has nothing to do with move to world or entity, its just temporary.
