Yo guys. for one day ago i was at the driving school for scooters, and i had a fun time going about...... 30-40km/h and doing breaking practice. After some time practicing that i wanted to test with higer speed and guess what happened. I drive about 60km/h and hit the wrong break(means for the front wheel break) and i squeeze it and flew over the steering and into a tree with my F!@#ยต&% DAMN N*# and u bet that hurt. :S The worst part was that the girls there laughed at me. If u have ever done something as stupid reply.

I failed my driving test. 3 times.
First time, the car I was practicing in failed a week before, so I had another and it was DIFFERENT. Then a day before the test THAT one broke down, so I went into my test and stalled driving out of the test centre. I rolled out into the road, failed within 30 seconds of the test starting.
Second time he told me to open the bonnet so I opened the boot. I got 1 minor in the whole test (excluding this incident I'm about to talk about), but for some reason just as I was heading back to the test centre I thought 'LETS SWITCH LANES!' when coming up to a round about, only to switch again whilst going round, gaining 2 majors and another minor. There wasn't anybody about. If there was it would have been a lot worse.
The day before doing the third test I was achey and flu-like. I stayed up long enough to watch Pan's Labyrinth, then went to bed at about 9. (This was seriously flu like stuff as well, the sort of 'hurts to move I want to sit here it feels like I'm in the middle of a big padded blanket and it's kind of cosy in bed, like getting up in the mornings') I woke up completely fine and refreshed the next day... at 2 in the morning. After lying there for about 5 hours knowing that I had a test at 8 and that I HAD to get some sleep, I finally got up, then at about 8 I suddenly felt tired again and that feeling lasted throughout the test. Still, it didn't affect the outcome at all. Third time he I had this person who said 'TURN RIGHT' as I was coming up to a road I have always turned left at- the right slopes down steeply and you can't see it between the houses. Still, I was like 'umm I can't see it!' 'TURN RIGHT!' 'I can't see!!!!' 'You indicated right and you didn't turn right!' ...silence. I didn't pose a harm to others in my opinion, but he still gave me 2 majors for indicating incorrectly and hesitating at that point of the test.
All of this time, I considered myself to be a hesitant and cautious driver. By the time the fourth test came around, I had changed. I accelerated to the maximum speed straight away, braked hard and generally did it like a timed test. Don't ask why. It wasn't me. Still, I did the test and although I considered it to be far weaker than the other three attempts, I passed. And that's why all of those people who drive stupidly pass. The driving instructor acted quite funnily really, when I braked he flung himself forward, so I was like 'ahh I'll do it softer' ...and he still flung himself forward in a completely over the top manner. I thought it was some kind of joke, and after this long talk he had at the end saying 'you only just passed, you drove recklessly and dangerously and I almost failed you on several occasions' ... I got my license. And to this day I don't consider it a pass because it was utterly rubbish and certainly not me. (The real me didn't do any better in the test, mind).
So there's my experience of driving.

Lol, you need a license to ride a scooter? does it give you a motorcycle license too? Dont worry about those girls, the first time they open up the throttle they are going to freak out, or pop the clutch . atleast it was a scooter so you could pick it up. Be very careful with your front breaks, your really supposed to be doing both at the same time to avoid doing a stoppie, you never want to grab them hard enough to lock your front break, take it easy and pull it in slowly. Sometimes I find it better to loose some momentum with the rear break and then apply the front break so you dont come flying off. You must have hit the breaks really hard to come off at 60kmh, I was doing about 90 kmh today and managed to slow my bike down with just the front break, just break smoothly. Nothing really funny has happened to me yet, but I was riding past 3 lovely young lady's and I went past them, did a U-turn at the thing, nearly droped the bike cause I was going so slowly, then I came out of the u turn, saw the girls, but my bike has to ungodly habit of giving a quick rev when I least expect it, so im in first gear and all of a sudden my bike leaps up so I quickly use the rear brake to slow the bike down, only to have it stall on me right after. So basically I did a half arsed wheelie (I look like a show off), then my bike stalls and dies (look like a noob)..

I had no idea that you could ride at age 15 in Norway.
How did you manage to end up pulling the front break so hard? even though my bike has disk breaks I still managed to slow it down from about 90 with just the front break.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Correct me if I'm wrong. well...........my breaks are kinda strengthened, i don't have to squeeze it to hard to make it break and stop at almost the same spot i pulled it. XD age 15 you are allowed to take the license but you can't drive it on the main road, but i do it anyways. ;D And my bike can go to..... 70 in normal. that's kinda scary.

Don't you have like a EU scoter? or what is it?
I got my MC license when I was 16. I could only ride bikes with 125cc or that just put out 11Kw. I had a 4stroke 125cc that put out 9kw. Had a top speeda about 90-100kmh.
Is you use you brakes right....You can stop fast. Rusty, you should use both brakes....rear and front. The front is better so use that one more......(If you take a look at some bike you will see that the front brake diske is bigger.) When you do a "hard" brake you should use both. The rear tier should just be betwin sliping and rolling.....when you feel the tier slip easy up on the brake......If you know what I mean.

I use both breaks, but my front break is extremely sensitive compared to most bikes, I can do a stoppie with one finger if I want, so I rely on the rear break first, then I ease on the front.
Probably because Its meant for racing and they just slapped some lights and indicators on it.

Well all bikes ain't the same ya know. You dont really have a bike, you have a scooter. Now im a nice person so Im not going to give you crap, but if you ever think about waving to any bikers, dont do it, they will just laugh at you. Basically owning a scoot poot and thinking its a bike is the pinnacle of lameness. now I know for a fact that scooters generally don't have disk breaks, not any that top 70 anyway, that would be like attaching a cannon to a paddle boat. Dont get me wrong, I think scooters are great, but there not bikes. Especially those evil Harley riders. don't even look at them.

Yeah, the fact with scooters here in norway is kinda hard to say....... Scooters do have disk breaks in norway,(dunno where they are ported from though) and when they come here the people on the scooter senter puts something in it wich makes it only go 45, there might be a diffrence form norwegian Km/h and what you have in your counrty. I mostly say bike/scooter or something that i think fits what im talking about. But you corrected something though. ;P
