In your Hammer Editor, click on Tools, then on Options Now there should be a windows pop up "configure Hammer" In Games Configuration you click on "Configuration" "Edit" type in "Day of Defeat: Source" In "Game Data Files" click "Add" and add "$SteamUserDir\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin\dod.fgd" "Texture Format": "Materials (Half-Life 2)" "Map Type":"Half-Life 2" "Default PointEntity Class": "info_player_allies" "Default SolidEntity class": "func_detail" (or whatever you'd like) "Default Texture Scale": "0.25" "Default Lightmap Scale" "16" "cordon texture": "tools\toolsskybox" "Game Executable Directory (ex: c:\Half-Life)": "$SteamUserDir\day of defeat source" "Game Directory (where GameInfo.txt is,(ex: c:\Half-Life\cstrike):"$SteamUserDir\day of defeat source\dod" "Hammer VMF Directory (ex: C:\Half-Life\maps)": "$SteamUserDir\sourcesdk_content\dod\mapsrc"
Then on "Build Programs" Configuration : Day of Defeat:Source Game executable:$SteamUserDir\day of defeat source\hl2.exe BSP executable:$SteamUserDir\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin\vbsp.exe VIS executable:$SteamUserDir\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin\vvis.exe RAD executable:$SteamUserDir\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin\vrad.exe place compiled maps in this direction before running game:$SteamUserDir\day of defeat source\dod\maps
hope i could help lol
