Hi
At first is want to say Thank you very much for your tutorials! Sry for my bad english.
I made a map and added water like in your tutorials and it works to swim in it... BUT i wanted to create barrels which can swim in it. But when i shoot a barrel into the water it just falls down... Its on the ground then! Can you help me please? That would be so nice!
I cant answer for many hours so dont wait for my answer. Maybe im back in the evening or at night.
regards
Normi

I don't really understand the question. If your question is "how do I make barrels float in the water", then you need to make a prop_dynamic and make it a blue barrel (thats what I use) then place it just above the water, when you begin, the barrel should fall and begin to float. If this isn't what your looking for, post some screens along with your explanation so we know what to look for.

All the barrels float, that's not his problem. What type of water are you using? what texture? Some textures don't have the buoyancy set, so things wont float, try using water_canals_03 as the texture and see if it floats, if it does that's your problem.

I tried all watertextures and i think the water is not the problem. I think its the barrel. i used the Oildrum. I tried other barrels (the blue one and others). But when i make them a prop_dynamic i cant see them i the game. Whats wrong?

I got it! But it would be much better when the oilbarrel can swim/float... ok dont matter i need to use the blue barrel with the black lid and it works. Its not like i wanted it but its ok... Thanks for all your answers!
