Hi, after I run buildcubemaps I notice no difference and the console says: "Creating default cubemaps for env_cubemap using skybox militia_hdr..."
tried restarting the map/game, tried with hdr and without. Signs of not having the cubemaps working are of course the usual odd thumbnail in the player hands and the likes, glass reflecting only the sky etc.
I have also checked to see if the file is read only, which it is not. I have also tried with sv_cheats 1. Has anyone else had this specific problem and found a solution for it. (also, no leaks)

oh I sorted it. Reflections must be set to simple (not reflect world or reflect all) for it to work properly. Not a single guide or anything mentioned that at all - though it does make sense when you think about it, caus the cubemap would be trying to reflect itself which doesnt exist yet <_< (or is simply only the sky at current). I suffered for ages because of that

Where can you set it too simple? I have the same problem and I remember seeing it but not sure where :x.
What I'm saying is where do I tick the simple because it's not in flags unless it's in the actual tf2 game.
