Hey guys, my compiler gives a error on Placing detail props, maybe this does something from the error with the skybox (or a leak in it). I'm running on HL2 hammer for a g(arrys)mod map (the map is like flatgrass)

material "" not found Material not found!: You have a brush face on your map without a texture. This could be bad. Find it and at least give it the NoDraw texture.
Error! Too many detail props emitted on this map! Too many "detail props" (more than the limit of tens of thousands (EG: L4D = 64,000). These are, for example, like the grass sprites that appear on displacement terrains. Try changing that texture's alpha values in areas to reduce the number of grass sprites, or use a different texture without grass sprites.
You should run VVis and VRad at least on fast, too.

hmmm, i placed some things wrong. So i fixed that in my second try, it worked at last good. At last thanks for the help Zeph!

[ So my friend fhas found a surf_map for team fortress .. and he asked me to convert it to css / I tryied . Ive spendig my time replacing entities , texutres ... all in the map . So the map is ready . But when i try to compile it i have this error .. It doesnt compiles . What can i do ?

You have too many faces.
Reduce the number of brushes you use. Use the texture NoDraw for places unseen to reduce the number of rendered faces.

Ok so ive replaced all the outside of map textures to nodraw . Ive compiled the map . Then i started the map on css and it is like before . No textures No ct or T spawn . As nothing has changed .
Ive tried to to copy and paste the map in a new vmf file , i changed the name but when i try to compile i have this error

Nothing has changed because no file was created, so the older (last working) version is loaded instead (since this BSP was created and has not been overwritten).
Because the BSP does not exist because it was not created because there was an error from the compile of the VMF.
your error is the same: .
It is most likely you have a complex object like a sphere or something similar, causing massive problems to your map. Check for complex brush work. Is it possible to post perhaps screen shots of things in your map (as a new thread maybe) if there aren't going to be too many? If there are many rooms, etc, then i may need to look at your VMF. you can email it to UberMicro at ZephMail dot co dot uk to save uploading it to all.

Try Ctrl+A to autosize the 4 windows. If this does not work, then go to Options -> General, and tick "Load default window positions with maps". Then try Ctrl+A.
